Secretary - MaryAnn Brown

The secretary is often the first contact a person has with the church. MaryAnn enjoys being that person and she had several years experience as a church secretary prior to coming to PAUMC. She and her husband, Ken, currently live in Shakopee and look forward to time spent with children and grandchildren.

Choir Director - Peggy Larson

Peggy Larson has a BA in vocal music from Concordia College. She has had an extensive career in vocal music with a strong emphasis on choral music. Her special involvement with choral music included the founding of Taman, the popular women's choir, Peggy's Angels and the CREA Jazz Choir. She has often served as a jury member at choir competitions and is known throughout Holland for seminar work and guest teaching.

Peggy also teaches at McNally Smith College of Music.  Peggy has a BA in vocal music from Concordia College, and a Masters in Ethnomusicology from Bethel University.  She lived in Holland for 26 years, where she had an extensive career as a singer and voice teacher, leading several choirs and jazz ensembles and teaching in colleges in Rotterdam and Arnhem.  She still returns to Holland yearly to teach.

Organist - Dale Miller

Dale Miller has been organist/pianist at PAUMC for more than 30 years. He has been lead pianist for 3 or 4 local community theater productions a year for more than a decade, and often directs the orchestra for these productions.

Bell Choir - Mary Nelson

Mary Nelson is the able director of the PAUMC Bell Choir. Her patience and capable leadership have resulted in a group, which offers a variety of musical worship experiences.

SonRise - Judy Richardson-Mahre

Judy performs in and directs the SonRise vocal group. She also participates in the Sanctuary choir and helps out with the children's choir. By day, Judy is a mechanical engineer and owns her own independent consulting company. Judy and her husband Eric have three children, Megan, Blake and Emma.

Custodian - Paul Hermann

Paul has been the church custodian at PAUMC for a number of years. When Paul isn't keeping PAUMC in spotless condition, working at his full time job in cement construction, caring for lawns or plowing snow, he somehow finds time to fish or work on automobiles.

Director of Communication and Ministries

Lori McBride joined the staff of The PORT on March 1, 2013.  She is married to John and they have five adult children, four  grandchildren and a loving dog, Ruby Mae.  Lori's past church positions include directing Compassion and Justice Ministries and Communications.  She has a particular passion for international mission work, having traveled to Jamaica, Uganda, Honduras, Ecuador, Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
